Teachers
1. Will implement the 2nd Grade Project
2. Use the Internet to find useful resources to support the project
3. Identify the major element s of Nonfiction Literature
4. Collect and use print and electronic graphics.
5. Create files and folders to organze student work.
6. Will be able to download and use the Power Point template.
7. Will be able to scan images.
8. Create and publish hardcover and e-books to showcase student work
Facilitaors
1. Be able to demonstrate a variety of file organization systems and understand the purpose of each.
2. Demonstrate the use of the PowerPoint template designed to enhance the 2nd grade project.
3. Model the use of a scanner.
4. Model importing graphics and voice recordings.
5. Be familiar with the range of resources available to support the project.
6. Demonstrate the publishing of print and ebooks to showcase student work
7. Understand the challenges and opportunities teachers will encounter while participating in the 2nd grade project.
8. Model effective instructional strategies for classroom management for technology-enhanced learning
9. Demonstrate the the use of global collaboration tools to extend the project outside the classroom
